Teaser trailer for Doctor Sleep, which, if you don't know is a sequel to The Shining, and IMHO, easily the best thing King has written since Lisey's Story and possibly even since the Great Van Incident.

I confess, I am conflicted about the trailer.

I reread 'Salem's Lot this week, and found the latest (Kindle) version full of goodies, including deleted scenes and some updated authorial thoughts. ( spoilers for the book and the 2004 miniseries, and the first 3 Dark Tower books )

Revival is the story of a man obsessed with the spiritual power of electricity, or more properly, of the boy/man who becomes a key figure in his life. It it not a light read, by any stretch of the imagination.

I finally finished Doctor Sleep. I have not, actually, been reading it the whole time since I last posted. I reached not quite the halfway point and realized that I really couldn't read it in the fits and starts that I have during the last third of the semester, so I (reluctantly) put it aside until the end of the semester. I heard on the radio this morning that Warner Brothers was set to make a movie version of Stephen King's It, to which my response was a croaking,* "Nooooooooooo!"
